Dolce's Secret Menu

SHHH...it’s time for us to spill the secrets. Say hello to the Dolce Secret Menu! This menu was created by dedicated bakers and loyal customers over the years. We’re sharing a few of our favorite Dolce Secret Menu items.

    Take & Bake Chocolate Chunk Cookies + PB + Ice Cream

      • You think there’s nothing better than warm chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven. Think again! Pre Order a Chocolate Chunk Take & Bake, bake your fresh cookies at home, drizzle with peanut butter, and top with a sweet scoop of ice cream. Dessert just got a whole lot sweeter.

      Lemon Poppy Seed Scones + Goat Cheese + Blueberry Compote

        • I take our Lemon Poppyseed (or Blueberry!) scones and slice them into logs or disks (like you would slice a loaf of french bread for bruschetta or cristini).  I lightly toast them in the oven until a little crisp, but still tender. Next, I spread (room temperature) chevre/goat cheese on top (a little thick...not too thin). Then, I dollop a small spoonful of my homemade blueberry compote on top.  Now, pick up with your fingers, take a bite and enjoy!  It's really delicious!  Great as a snack and perfect for breakfast or especially brunch.  It is a great combination of savory (compote & chevre) and slightly sweet (compote & scone)...plus it makes a lovely presentation!

        Warmed up Oatmeal Cream Pie + Ice Cream

          • A warmed up Oatmeal Cream Pie with a fresh scoop of Vanilla Bean ice cream on top. Move over Apple Pie, there’s a new favorite in town! YUM.

          Chocolate Cake + Powdered Sugar + Fresh Fruit

            • My Grandma Reynolds used to serve her chocolate cake (which ours is inspired by!) with a light dusting of powdered sugar. It is simple and irresistible! I take one of our baked chocolate cakes, turn it out of the pan, put it on a plate, and dust it with powdered sugar. The only thing I would add would be fresh berries if they’re in season...and possibly a dollop of freshly whipped cream. Raising 7 children, I don’t think she even thought about making icing. I’m so glad she didn’t!
